Tāne Māhuta

I am part of the Tāne Māhuta group.

Our job is to make a difference in around the school so there's more native trees, plant and no sign of rubbish on the ground of Hornby High School. As a group we need to make our school clearer, healthier and improve on our school together.

Today we walked around the school. Firstly we went to the school garden of where we can make changes to make it look healthier and clearer. Secondly we walked to the back field of where we can make changes to make it look less junkie and more clearer. The last place we went was the back area of the school of where we can make changes because building will be coming down later in the year or 2

My favorite area at school is:
The part of the school beside Carmen Road.

My best idea to improve our school is:
Planting more native tree that will attract the birds and make more shade over the school.
