S.L.J practice Cyber-smart - England school days

Today in cyber-smart I'm looking at school days in England. We are seeing when they start school, when they finish school, how many hours at school, how many weeks a year at school, how many times a week they go to school.

Education in England is free and compulsory for all children aged 5-16 years old. Some children in England rather be educated at home than public school. Children's education in England is normally divided into 2 separate stages. England begin with primary education at the ages of 5-11 years old.

This book is amazing and I like it, even though I haven't read it all is still really amazing and funny. I also liked the pictures in the story. To me Curious Kiwi will be into this book because it's filling with children's behave.

What I enjoyed about the story:
I enjoyed the crazy and funny sentences about the children. I also liked the way the sentences got put in the story. The different children I've read about are described really way and with great interesting words. I also liked the pictures.

Characters:
The terrible triplets, Tandy's tantrums, Boastful barnabus, Fanny's funny faces, Hanks pranks, Honey the hogger, Vain valentine, Bonnie bossypants, Walter the wasp and Kung fu kylie.

    Cyber-smart reflection

In term 3 we were learning about smart relationships. We were writing positive and negative things on padlet about our blogs. We also learnt to never put our private information online because you never know who's on the other side of that screen.

This term we were learning about smart user. We were learning and working towards the Summer Learning Journey. The Summer Learning Journey is to help and keep your standards up in maths, writing and reading. There is 60 different activities with only 6 weeks. That you do at least 3 activities a day. That you can do the days in any order.

My favorite thing in cyber-smart this year was? To work in groups with my friends. Also making heaps of blog posts about what we learnt and what we were learning.
Something I didn't enjoy was? Not having enough time to make a quality blog post.

Something my cyber-smart teacher did well? That Miss Morgan did well on teaching us about cyber-smart and making us understand to be smart ad safe online.
Something my cyber-smart teacher could do better? Letting us have enough time to do a quality blog post.
