Aim: To produce an electrical current using lemons.
Equipment:
- Voltmeter
- Copper Electrode
- Zinc Electrode
- Copper Wire
- Lemon
- Get ready setting up the equipment
- Connecting the copper wires to the voltmeter
- Sticking the zinc electrode and copper electrode into the lemon
- Placing the copper wires to the electrode
- Record your results
Results:
The red copper wire is connected to the zinc electrode and the black copper wire is connected to the copper electrode producing 1 volt according to the voltmeter.
