About Digi Tech - Games

Aim/WALT:
Researching about all three Kaitiaki (Tāne Māhuta, Tangaroa and Tawhirimatea.)
The planning process of our Kaitiaki and our games
Making our games

These past weeks in Digital Tech, we have been learning about three kaitiaki in New Zealand. Those Kaitiaki are Tāne Māhuta, Tangaroa and Tawhirimatea. I choose Tāne Māhuta for my Kaitiaki. We also have been learning about coding. You could choose to do a game, app or narrative. I choose to do a game. We also did a heap of coding and tutorials about a game, app or narrative, so that we knew what to do.

Reflection:
Why I choose to do a game/gamefroot? The reason why I choose to do a game is because it's something a enjoy and other people enjoy. Also games are fun and just make you feel happy. The reason why I choose to do gamefroot is because that's what app you use to make a game.

What I learnt? I learnt more about the three gods (Tāne Māhuta, Tangaroa and Tawhirimatea). I've also learnt how to make my own game using gamefroot and how to use the different tools on making a game.

What I could have done better? I could have done more background research on the three gods (Tāne Māhuta, Tangaroa and Tawhirimatea). Also I could have done more planning towards my game.

Question:
Would you have done a game, app or narrative?

Source:
To make a game we had the opportunity to use Gamefroot, App Lab or Scratch. I choose Gamefroot, because that's the app to make a game.
