On Wednesday for home economics we made applesauce muffins
With our applesauce muffins we modified the recipe by adding substitutions. We all got given a substitution aspect my group but we got given chocolate chips to add into our muffins.
Original recipe - No substitutions: It was okay but there was too much rolled oats, not enough apple and cinnamon, but the chocolate chips made it pleasant to eat.
Canola and Soy: I didn't like this muffin because it was too chewy meaning it didn't have enough time to cook properly.
Butter and Wholemeal Flour: It was okay but there was too much rolled oats, the wholemeal flour put me off so it wasn't that pleasant to eat.
Soy and Wholemeal Flour: It didn't like it, it was disgusting, it was so chewy and wasn't cook properly.
Canola and Wholemeal Flour: It was okay, it was under cooked and had lots of rolled oats.
Butter and Soy: I didn't like it but it had a very funny taste that wasn't pleasant to eat.
